Title: How to factory reset Sony Xperia?
Post by: c4cyber on June 27, 2018, 08:38:21 AM
I have been using xperia since few years now and love its sleek design.
Some time you just need to do the factory-reset your phone.
To do the factory reset -
Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button (located on the right edge of the device) until the Sony screen appears then release. From the System Recovery screen, select Factory Reset. Utilize the Volume buttons to scroll through the menu options and the Power button to select.

The factory data reset is a good process to make your device fresh like new. But, before you proceed, you must follow the steps below -

Back up all your internal data to any external storage device as this process will erase all the user data present in its internal storage. Alternatively, you can use Sony xperia  Data Backup & Restore from MobiKin Assistant for Android (https://www.mobikin.com/assistant-for-android/).

Make sure that the device has at least 70% charge left to sustain the long process of the factory reset.

There are many ways to factory reset the phone/tablet. But before doing factory resetting, we should know what factory resetting is. To factory reset an Android or to hard reset is to erase all of the user’s data on the phone. Everything including photos, Apps, accounts, and files will be deleted and return to its original state.
So you should always remember to keep a backup of your data.

Hi,
If there are something missing on your Sony Xperia after resetting, you can try FoneLab Android Data Recovery (https://www.fonelab.com/android-data-recovery/) to get the deleted data back from Sony (https://www.fonelab.com/resource/recover-deleted-photos-and-videos-from-sony-xperia.html).
